Walther P99

Appearing in 1997, the P99 was specifically developed for law enforcement and security forces to replace several other older models in the Walther range. It's extremely hard wearing and tough by virtue of its reinforced poymer frame and Tenifer treated steel components - sweaty shooters can therefore rejoice due to its resitance to the effects of perspiration (useful when carried concealed). It's available in a variety of colour finishes to suit the field of deployment and is very customisable. It has been taken up by many police forces, particularly in Germany and is also very popular in Finnish public services. Ours pictured here is the 9mm version.

Law & Order

All modern police forces need high-quality, effective and reliable firearms to deal with various situations, ranging from arresting a suspect to controlling a terrorist. In the UK police hardly ever carry firearms, whereas in America they are virtually essential. The Glock 22, for example, is often seen as a perfectly-adapted weapon for law enforcment, as is the SIG Sauer P220 - they're lightweight, trusty and easy to conceal. Since 9/11, the threat from terrorists has grown around the world, and more firepower is required to prepare for the possibilities of an attack. Special police forces have also been introduced in recent years, such as bomb disposal squads; these groups can deal with anything from crisis situations to recently-discovered mines from previous wars.

007

James Bond is the typical gentleman agent, a British servant of MI6 who is forever chasing enemies of the Secret Service. It all started in 1962 with Dr. No, when Bond had to protect an American space launch from a scheming villain. Since then, Bond has uncovered many plots and killed numerous agents - and he's met a few women along the way as well. The release of Skyfall marks the 50th anniversary of the blockbuster series.

Bourne Trilogy

Jason Bourne uncovers clues to his identity starting with a bank account number, discovering multiple aliases and realizing he was trained as an assassin for a secret U.S. agency. As he searches for the truth, a CIA group tries to stop him, and he learns about his mission to kill a man named Wombosi. In The Bourne Supremacy, Bourne and his girlfriend Marie are living in India when he is framed by a Russian agent. After Marie's death in a car chase, Bourne discovers the CIA's involvement and works to clear his name. In The Bourne Ultimatum, Bourne tracks a journalist who knows about Operation Treadstone, but after the journalist is killed, he follows a trail that leads him to New York in search of documents revealing his past.

The Matrix Series

The Matrix series is a cyberpunk saga about Neo, a hacker who discovers that the world is a simulated reality controlled by machines. In the first film, Neo joins a rebellion to free humanity from this digital prison and embraces his role as "The One" to fight the machines. The sequels, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, explore Neo’s growing powers and his quest to stop a machine invasion threatening the human city of Zion, culminating in a final battle with the rogue Agent Smith. The Matrix Resurrections revisits Neo years later, once again trapped in a new version of the Matrix, as he reclaims his identity to fight a new threat. The series blends action, philosophy, and groundbreaking visual effects to explore themes of reality, free will, and control.
