Heckler & Koch UMP

description
The Heckler & Koch UMP was launched in 1999, as the company hoped to improve on the old MP5. Like many of their other weapons, they hoped to sell predominantly to U.S. law enforcement officers, and made it as lightweight and wieldy as possible for this reason, but still robust by virtue of its G36 derived design. It has yet to replace the omnipresent MP5, but a wide range of special forces groups have adopted it in recent years. It's most famous recent movie cameo has been at the end of Casino Royale and beginning of Quantum of Solace as Bond deals with Mr. White. Shown here in 45 ACP chambering, go check it out!!

Since then, Bond has uncovered many plots and killed numerous agents - and he's met a few women along the way as well. The release of Skyfall marks the 50th anniversary of the blockbuster series.
