Description
The Steyr TMP is a beast of a machine gun, and although it may not be beautiful it certainly makes up for that with its immense power. The TMP is only used in two countries - Austria and Italy - but despite this lack of popularity, it's not a poorly-built weapon. After all, it was chosen specifically for counter-terrorism organisations. Why? Simply because it's a machine pistol like no other. For example, after every shot the barrel rotates clockwise, producing a surprisingly violent recoil. The TMP was first designed in 1992 by the Austrian company Steyr Mannlicher, and can hold a 30-round magazine. This gun was used by the assassin who is ordered to kill Neil McCauley in the movie Heat. Manufacture of the TMP ended in 2001 due to lack of popularity, but the Brugger & Thomet MP9 is a modern redevelopment, through which the Steyr lives on. It fires the world-leading 9mm bullet - click the link find out more!
